Vallecito Community Event Center will offer a free safe-boating course from 10 a.m. to noon June 5 at the center, 17252 County Road 501, Bayfield.
Doors will open at 9:30 a.m. for sign-in. Seating is limited and reservations are required. To register, call 884-7000.
All vehicles must have a recreation pass displayed in front window.
The course is sponsored by U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary – Flotilla 0810203, Pine River Irrigation District, Vallecito Marina & Yacht Club and Vallecito Conservation and Sporting Association.
